The Heart Behind the Beat

Jammin with Sasha was born from a lifelong passion for music, movement, and inclusion. Founded by Sasha, a musician, educator, and advocate who has worked with children of all abilities for over a decade, the program transforms rhythm and creativity into powerful tools for connection and growth.

Through her signature djembe drum and interactive jams, Sasha celebrates neurodiversity and teaches that every child—regardless of ability—can find their voice, rhythm, and expression.

What began as Let’s Jam Programs has evolved into Jammin with Sasha, a movement of mindful music, joyful learning, and boundless inclusion.

What Is Creative
Movement?

Creative Movement is a playful way for children to explore their bodies, energy, and imagination through music and motion. It helps kids express themselves, build confidence, and discover new ways to communicate — all through joyful movement. At Jammin with Sasha, Creative Movement creates a calm, inclusive space where all children can shine, including kids with sensory, communication, or developmental needs. Through music and guided activities, children learn about themselves, their environment, and each other.

Why is it Important?

Creative Movement supports the whole child — mind, body, and heart.
Here’s what it helps develop:

Motor Skills & Development

Improves coordination, balance, rhythm, and body awareness.

Sensory Integration

Engages all senses — touch, sound, sight, movement — helping children feel grounded and connected.

Inclusive For All Abilities

Every child participates at their level — movement can be big, small, simple, or expressive in their own way.

Language and Cognitive Skills

Movement + music activates both sides of the brain, supporting memory, speech, and communication.

Focus and Self-Regulation

Helps children practice concentration, calm their nervous system, and manage their energy.
